About Meg

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting my page and letting me share a few moments of your day with you.  My name is Meg and I love to laugh.  I also love to write, so it is a wonderful blessing for me to be able to spill my inner monologue onto my keyboard.  I've loved to write since I was a kid. My Daddy used a lot of big words and when I would ask what a word meant, he would say, "Look it up!". Words and I became fast friends.

My family serves as my muse for my laughter and my writing.  I am wife to an amazing man and mother to three beautiful children! We all live on a beautiful acreage in a beautiful place. It's humble, slightly rotted in a few places and most certainly a work in progress, but it's OURS and we love it! Here on our farm, we raise our kids to love Jesus and our animals to know kindness. We love the outdoors, high adventure, being together and eating good food.  We are a family of "old souls" and our values and priorities reflect that. Our boys are being taught to be gentlemen and our little girl is being taught to expect nothing less. 

This blog is an outlet for me to be real.  Authenticity sprinkled tenderly with lightheartedness.  We need each other for encouragement.  We need each other to share the heartaches, the hilarity, the frustrations, and the moments that leave us without words.  I hope that this series of literary blurbs is a bright spot in your day.  It is a bright spot for me just to have the privilege and freedom to write them!
